Data collected
- Enquiries / messaging: the information you send us (name if provided, email address, the content of your messages).
- Booking: identity, email, telephone, dates of stay and number of guests, required to process the request and the rental contract.
- Browsing: standard technical data (server connection logs) for security and proper operation.
Purposes and legal bases
- Responding to your requests and communicating with you — legitimate interest / pre-contractual measures.
- Managing bookings and the delivery of the stay — performance of the contract.
- Complying with our legal and accounting obligations — legal obligation.
Recipients & processors
Your data is neither sold nor transferred. It may be processed by our technical service providers, strictly for the purposes set out above:
- Beds24 — management of availability and bookings.
- Stripe — secure online payment. Your bank card details are entered and stored solely by Stripe; they never pass through our servers.
- Hostinger — website hosting.
Some service providers may process data outside the European Union; where applicable, such transfers are governed by the appropriate safeguards provided for by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses).
Retention period
Booking data is kept for the duration of the contractual relationship, then for the legal retention periods (in particular accounting-related ones). Simple enquiries and messaging exchanges are kept for as long as needed to handle them, then deleted.
Cookies & local storage
This website does not use advertising cookies or trackers subject to consent. The messaging module stores, in your browser, a technical conversation identifier (local storage) that is strictly necessary for it to work.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise these rights, write to location-nancy@outlook.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).
Security
We implement reasonable measures to protect your data. The entire website is served over HTTPS (encrypted connection).
