Separate dropping off luggage from parking
If you are sleeping on site, first check the access arrangements for the accommodation. A drop-off option does not mean a space is available for the whole night.
During an event, check the published traffic restrictions. The usual access to a street or car park may be temporarily changed.
Consider the park-and-ride sites
The Stan network presents park-and-ride sites for reaching the city by public transport. Its page indicates free use with a Stan ticket on weekdays and without a ticket at weekends, with an exception for Nancy Deux Rives.
Check the current conditions of the chosen car park, the tickets needed and how the exit works. For parking over several days or overnight, make sure the arrangements genuinely suit your use.
Compare the city-centre car parks
Look at the cost for the total duration, the access hours, the maximum height and the route to your destination. For an electric vehicle, a space in a car park does not guarantee an available charging point.
Plan a route that does not depend on an access that may be closed during an event.
Keep the details for the return
Save the car park's name and address. If you take public transport to reach it, check the time of the last service for your date.
Do not count on a special shuttle without an announcement for the current edition. Arrangements from other years are not automatically renewed.
